Many people plan travel to faraway destinations for the so-called best time of the year. Tropical regions are enjoying increasing popularity. What about malaria or yellow fever? What inoculations or protective measures are useful or indeed mandatory? Let us advise you with regard to travel-related medical questions. General recommendations

Generally recommended inoculations:
Tetanus, diphtheria, polio
Your statutory health insurer will pay the costs of these inoculations.

Travel inoculations

Inoculations required by the country of travel:
Cholera, *yellow fever
The *yellow fever inoculation is only available at government-run inoculation points.
You must pay for this yourself.
Generally recommended travel inoculations:
Hepatitis A and B (from 18 years of age and upward)
Your statutory health insurer will not pay the costs of these inoculations.

Special inoculations

Special inoculations: FSME (tick bite), typhus, Pneumococcus, Rabies. Your statutory health insurer will not pay the costs of these inoculations.
